New Policies in light of Covid - Please Read
Updated November 2nd 2020
• Clients will be asked to wear masks while face up during treatment and at all times while inside the building until further notice. If you do not have one please let me know, I have some available for purchase.
• We have closed our waiting room for now, so I will greet you outside 1-5 minutes before your appointment. One it becomes too cold to wait on the porch, please text me when you arrive and I will meet you at the door.
• I will take your temperature and/or oxygen levels outside (or in the foyer when it becomes cold) . Even before Covid, fevers were a big contraindication for massage, so anyone with a temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit will be asked to reschedule.
• For new clients, you will have 2 options for your intake form - 1. I can email it to you to print out and bring in or 2. I can leave it on the front porch for you to fill in outside before your appointment .
• I will waive the cancellation fee for fevers or covid-related cancellations (ie rescheduling due to possible exposure or illness).
• I will ask you to use hand sanitizer and/or wash your hands immediately upon entering the building.
• I will send new clients a wellness questionnaire the day before your appointment, and your appointment confirmation is contingent upon your answers to this questionnaire. For subsequent appointment please refer to these questions and reschedule if anything has changed.
• If you have contact with anyone who is ill or who tests positive for covid, please make sure to reschedule your appointment for 15 days after that interaction.
• Please do not schedule an appointment for 15 days after returning from out of town travel (socially distanced camping is ok)
• If possible, please come to your appointment directly from home in fresh clothes and recently showered, rather than after running errands. This is ideal, though I understand it may not be possible, so no worries if you are not able to do so.
• Additional precautions I will be taking: running an air filter (UV) in the room, fully sanitizing all equipment and handles in between each client, taking my own temperature daily, wearing a mask myself, and temporarily avoiding facial massage.
• Thank you very much for your understanding! The nature of massage therapy is that we will be in an enclosed room for a lengthy period of time, so it is important to be extra precautious to protect yourself, me, and all of my other clients.
Standard Policies
Arrival Time
• Please try to arrive 5 minutes before your session begins. This allows time to communicate your needs for the session.
• For your first session, please arrive 15 minutes early in order to fill out the intake form - unless you filled it out at home.
• Should you run late for your scheduled session, please let me know. If you do not arrive after 30 minutes and haven't called in, you will be charged for the full session.
• When arriving late, your session may be shortened to not interfere with other appointments. You will be responsible for payment of the full session.
• Treatment time shortened at the client's request on the day of your appointment qualifies as a rescheduled appointment; the client is still responsible for payment for the full amount of time.
Cancellations
• 24 hour notice is requested when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule that time slot. You will be responsible for the full price of your session if you cancel within 24 hours.
• If you are using a credit or gift certificate, it will be considered redeemed in the case of a cancellation or no-show.
• If you cannot make it to a session and it is within the 24 hour cancellation period, you are welcome to send someone to keep your appointment for you. If your scheduled session is eligible for any discounts, they will not carry over to your stand-in.
Referrals
• I appreciate you sharing my name with others. For each client your refer, you will receive $10.00 credit towards your next session. This does not apply to gift certificate recipients.
Payment Options
• I can accept cash, check, and paypal at this time.
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made prior to the start of the session.
• There is a $30 fee for all returned checks.
